Mumbai, 1st July, 2025: Zee Marathi has set a new benchmark in Marathi television with the grand launch of its latest fiction show, Kamali, which began with an extraordinary event celebrating Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage. On June 28th, over 3,000 school children gathered at the Saraswati Mandir Trust Ground in Thane, Maharashtra, to perform a collective chanting of the sacred Shivstuti — a devotional hymn honouring the legendary Maratha warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
This soul-stirring tribute, led by the show’s titular character Kamali and accompanied by the enthusiastic participation of children, created an electrifying atmosphere of devotion and pride. The record-breaking mass chanting was formally recognised by the World Records Book of India, with Zee Marathi receiving a certificate and medal commemorating this remarkable feat. The event was graced by the presence of the show’s lead cast, including Vijaya Babar (Kamali), Ketaki Kulkarni (Anika), and Nikhil Damle (Rishi).
