The campaign is a nod to today’s digitally savvy, price-conscious travellers who are no longer swayed by traditional banking promises.

Mumbai: BookMyForex (A MakeMyTrip Group Entity), India’s largest online retail foreign exchange marketplace has launched a bold new brand campaign that combines humour, pop-culture tropes, and a cinematic twist to remind travellers that haggling for forex rates is a thing of the past—thanks to BookMyForex.

Set in a classic Bollywood-meets-Wild-West showdown, the film opens with a Daaku (Bandit) storming into a bank, demanding a forex rate cheaper than even zero-markup. Just as tension builds, a calm Cowboy intervenes—not with a weapon, but with the BookMyForex app. The Daaku, stunned to learn that BookMyForex offers rates 2% cheaper than even zero-markup—drops his weapon and switches to the BookMyForex App instead.

The film ends with a cheeky voiceover: “Some people will steal to save money on forex. Thankfully, you have BookMyForex.”

The campaign is a nod to today’s digitally savvy, price-conscious travellers who are no longer swayed by traditional banking promises. With up to ₹7,500 cashback through its Crazy Cashback Sale, transparent pricing, and rates that beat even mid-market benchmarks, BookMyForex positions itself as the smartest and most value-driven way to buy forex – currency notes and forex cards. 

Conceptualised and created by Fillme Networks, the film will run across YouTube, Social platforms and programmatic ad networks, ensuring wide digital reach across metro and Tier 2 markets. Timed perfectly with the peak summer travel season, the campaign targets outbound Indian travellers as they plan their international trips. The full-length ad, along with short-format edits, will be promoted across platforms to drive recall and engagement across diverse audience segments.
