Integration enables businesses across Asia-Pacific to streamline customer engagement and reduce operational workloads.

Mumbai, India – 12th August 2025: AnyMind Group [TSE:5027], a BPaaS company for marketing, e-commerce, and digital transformation, has extended the AI customer service agent feature on its conversational commerce platform, AnyChat, to WhatsApp. Initially launched in March 2025 for LINE, this enhancement now allows businesses and merchants across key markets—including India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore—to leverage AI-powered customer engagement on one of the world’s most widely used messaging platforms.
With over 3 billion monthly active users globally, WhatsApp plays a central role in customer communication, particularly in Asia-Pacific, where India, Indonesia, and the Philippines rank among the top five countries for user numbers. AnyChat’s AI customer service agent can automatically manage initial customer queries in natural language, using large language models (LLMs) within brand-approved guardrails to ensure accuracy and reliability.
A recent three-month study with global water flosser brand Waterpik, which used AnyChat’s AI feature on LINE, showed that AI handled 25% of all customer inquiries, significantly reducing workloads for human agents. Beyond answering queries, the platform collects essential details such as order IDs and customer names, enabling seamless handover to human support when required. Historical conversation data and easy updates to product information allow businesses to refine responses and maintain accurate, timely communication.
“For most Indian consumers, WhatsApp is the first and often the only touchpoint with a brand. This integration is about enabling faster, more meaningful conversations without overburdening teams. It’s a small shift with the potential for real, lasting impact,” said Aditya Aima, Managing Director, Growth Markets; Co-MD, India and MENA, AnyMind Group.
AnyChat supports customer engagement across multiple channels, including LINE, Messenger, Instagram, Shopee, and Lazada, through a single dashboard. The platform is now integrated into AnyMind Group’s e-commerce management system, AnyX, offering unified solutions for analytics, store management, CRM, logistics, and more.
