Industry veteran with two decades of award-winning experience joins from FCB India to drive the agency’s next phase of growth

New Delhi, September 2, 2025: DDB Tribal, the full-service, through-the-funnel agency of the DDB Mudra Group based in Gurugram, has appointed Anusheela Saha as its new Creative Head. She joins from FCB India, where she served as National Creative Director, leading strategy, mentoring teams, and delivering impactful work that combined creativity with cultural relevance.
With over 20 years of experience across agencies including Cheil and FCB India, Anusheela has shaped brand storytelling for some of the world’s leading companies. Her portfolio spans Unilever, KFC, Mahindra Automobiles, Uber, Google, Samsung, UN AIDS, and the Times of India. Notable projects include UnBox Me, which addressed gender identity in children and initiated meaningful dialogue around inclusion.
Her work has been widely recognized at global and regional award platforms such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio Awards, Spikes Asia, and Kyoorious. At FCB India, Anusheela’s leadership stood out for breaking barriers, as she took on a senior creative role while navigating the responsibilities of new motherhood — a rare milestone in the industry.
At DDB Tribal, Anusheela will report to Rahul Mathew, Chief Creative Officer, DDB Mudra Group. She succeeds Iraj Fraz, who transitions into a new role within the company.
Rahul Mathew said, “Over the last few years, we’ve seen DDB Tribal grow stronger and more confident as an agency. Anusheela will help us take this growth into its next phase. She shares our core values, especially around big ideas and craft, and I look forward to creating exciting work together with her.”
Expressing her enthusiasm, Anusheela Saha added, “I am very excited to be a part of DDB Tribal. For me, DDB is the perfect alignment of culture, creative vision, and leadership. I look forward to helping Rahul take this incredible legacy forward and building a successful partnership with Ashutosh and the entire team.”
Outside her professional achievements, Anusheela is passionate about nurturing plants and curating art by women and queer artists.
