Arm-wrestling league cements its place in mainstream sports, gears up for global expansion in Season 3
Gwalior, September 5, 2025: Pro Panja League Season 2, co-founded by Parvinn Dabass and Preeti Jhangiani under Swen Entertainment, has achieved record-breaking success, reaching 250 million households across television platforms—up from 185 million households in Season 1. The league also witnessed unprecedented digital traction with 150 million+ social media views, making it the most impactful season in Pro Panja history.
The tournament saw a major spike in engagement from Day 5, driven by high-stakes clashes such as Jaipur vs Sher-e-Ludhiana and Rohtak vs Mumbai Muscle. On Instagram alone, Pro Panja secured 100 million views in August, amplifying the league’s reach across younger audiences.
Regionally, North India (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, J&K & Chandigarh) led domestic viewership with a 20% share, followed by 24% from the North East and 16% from Maharashtra & Goa. Metro cities Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad also recorded strong traction, despite the league being hosted in Gwalior.
This season featured marquee matches across men’s, women’s, and para categories, further strengthening the league’s inclusivity and fan base. With this surge, Pro Panja has cemented arm-wrestling as a mainstream sport in India, while attracting new audiences and strengthening fan loyalty.
Speaking on the achievement, Parvinn Dabass, Co-founder of Pro Panja League, said: “This unprecedented success, reaching 250 million households, proves that arm-wrestling has entered the mainstream. Our goal was to professionalize India’s traditional sport, and Season 2 shows we’ve succeeded. With international participation planned for Season 3, Pro Panja is now preparing for a truly global stage.
“Preeti Jhangiani, Co-founder of Pro Panja League and President of the People’s Arm-Wrestling Federation India (PAFI), added: “The phenomenal reach across social and television platforms is a testament to the passion of our athletes and fans. Arm-wrestling from India is gaining global recognition, and we are committed to building this platform to international standards while showcasing our homegrown talent.”
With Season 2 delivering the highest-ever television and social media traction for the sport, the dates and venue for Season 3 will be announced soon, as Pro Panja gears up to expand its global footprint.
