Bengaluru and Mumbai editions highlight India’s pivotal role in shaping the global digital economy
Bengaluru/Mumbai, September 15, 2025: Dell Technologies successfully concluded the Bengaluru and Mumbai editions of its flagship annual event, Dell Technologies Forum 2025, under the theme “Reimagine What’s Possible.” The forums brought together more than 2,000 customers, partners, CIOs, and industry leaders to explore how AI and emerging technologies are shaping India’s role in the global digital economy.
The general sessions opened with an inspiring keynote, “A Billion Dreams. One Digital Future,” delivered by Manish Gupta, President & Managing Director, Dell Technologies India. Gupta highlighted India’s AI journey and Dell’s commitment to building secure, scalable, and future-ready ecosystems that empower businesses of all sizes to accelerate innovation and scale AI infrastructure.
In Bengaluru, Sam Burd, President & Chief Strategy Officer, Dell Technologies, addressed the session “Transform Innovation into Action,” while in Mumbai, the same theme was carried forward by Peter Marrs, President, Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China, Dell Technologies, who shared actionable insights to accelerate digital transformation.
Spotlight on AI and Industry Collaboration
The forums featured dynamic discussions with experts including Shankar Subramanian (Dell Technologies), Ganesh Gopalan (Gnani.AI), Sharad Singhi (Neysa Network), Mridu Bhandari (broadcast journalist & entrepreneur), and Praval Singh (Zoho Corporation), who showcased how Dell’s AI Factory is enabling organizations like Zoho to accelerate AI model development.
In Mumbai, industry leaders including Neelakantan Venkataraman (Tata Communications), Abhishek Sukhwal (Mahindra Group), and Sriram Sridharan (Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan) engaged in thought-provoking panels on AI infrastructure, cloud, and legal frameworks. Both cities hosted the high-profile panel “AI – India’s New Big Frontier,” which examined how India is building inclusive AI infrastructure that balances local diversity with global competitiveness.
Adding star power, Rakesh Sharma (India’s first cosmonaut), R. Balki (filmmaker), and Dr. S. Somanath (former ISRO chairman) brought unique perspectives on innovation from space exploration, storytelling, and scientific research.
Partner Summit and Experience Zone
The exclusive Partner Summit brought together 115 partners to explore growth opportunities, Dell’s partner-led strategy, and India’s evolving market outlook. Sessions included a keynote by Vivek Malhotra, insights from Canalys’ Sheena Wee, and a fireside chat with Dell’s senior leadership.
At the AI Experience Zone, attendees engaged with Dell’s cutting-edge innovations, including AI-in-a-Box for simplified AI adoption and live demos of Dell Pro Max in collaboration with independent software vendors.
ESG Initiatives
Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, Dell introduced impactful initiatives: “Pedal for Light”—where attendee cycling funded solar lamps for 250 children—and “Scan to Grow,” which pledged the plantation of 1,000 trees, fostering a greener future.
