His role also involved closely aligning brand and content strategies to support revenue growth.
Mumbai: Partha Sinha has stepped down from his role as President and Chief Brand Officer at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), marking the end of a significant chapter at the media conglomerate.
Sinha shared that he had tendered his resignation earlier and completed his notice period last month. Sinha was elevated to the President and Chief Brand Officer role in July 2024, following his earlier tenure as President, Response. Around the same time, BCCL brought on board Surinder Chawla, former MD and CEO of Paytm Payments Bank, as President and Head of Response.
During his stint, Sinha spearheaded branding efforts across flagship verticals such as The Times of India, The Economic Times, Times Internet Media Services (TIMS), and the group’s language publications. He was instrumental in boosting brand salience, driving audience engagement, and launching market-specific products. His role also involved closely aligning brand and content strategies to support revenue growth.
Sinha brings a multidisciplinary background to the table—having started his career as a nuclear design engineer before moving into banking and strategic marketing. Prior to joining BCCL, he held senior leadership roles at leading advertising agencies including Ogilvy, Publicis, BBH, and McCann Worldgroup.
