India’s largest cycling movement reaches over 16 lakh citizens across 23 cities
Mumbai, June 13, 2025: Hero Cycles, India’s largest and most trusted bicycle manufacturer, in collaboration with WPP Media, has been awarded a Guinness World Record for the Largest Online Video Album of People Riding Bicycles. This historic feat is the crowning achievement of their nationwide campaign, ‘Har Gully Hero’, which aimed to revive India’s passion for cycling, outdoor play, and fitness.Conceptualised in partnership with WPP Media and executed with RED FM 93.5, the campaign brought together over 5,800 verified video entries, creating a record-breaking online album showcasing India’s cycling spirit. The initiative engaged more than 16 lakh citizens across 23 cities, uniting schools, residential welfare associations (RWAs), and cricket academies to celebrate community and fitness through cycling.To amplify excitement, Hero Cycles rolled out limited-edition co-branded bicycles with IPL teams Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals.
