Akasa Air’s in-flight dining brand celebrates the season with Maharashtrian-inspired delicacies available for pre-booking through August.
National, August 14, 2025; Café Akasa, the onboard meal service of Akasa Air, has reintroduced its Ganesh Chaturthi Special Meal for the fourth consecutive year, delighting flyers with authentic Maharashtrian flavours. Available from August 1 to August 31, 2025, the festive meal can be pre-booked via the airline’s website or mobile app.
The curated menu features Gur Mewe ka Paratha served with Sookhi Moong Dal ki Sabzi, complemented by a Trio of Mawa Modaks and a beverage of choice. Designed to evoke the nostalgia of home-cooked festive meals, the offering blends flavour, tradition, and celebration, reflecting Akasa Air’s commitment to enhancing the in-flight dining experience.
Since its launch in August 2022, Akasa Air has marked festivals and occasions with thoughtfully designed menus, spanning Makar Sankranti, Holi, Eid, Onam, Diwali, Christmas, and more. Passengers can also pre-select celebratory cakes for birthdays or special milestones during their journey.
Café Akasa’s menu features over 45 gourmet options, including fusion dishes, regional specialties, and indulgent desserts, curated by renowned chefs to cater to varied tastes and dietary preferences. The airline continues to refresh its offerings regularly, ensuring passengers enjoy a distinctive culinary experience at 35,000 feet.
