India’s biggest pop-culture festival returns with cosplay, comics, gaming, workshops, and global fan experiences; exclusively ticketed by District by Zomato

New Delhi, September 8, 2025: Comic Con India has officially announced the return of its flagship event, Delhi Comic Con 2025-26, to be held from December 5–7 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla. The three-day extravaganza promises the ultimate pop-culture experience with comics, cosplay, gaming, fan meet-ups, workshops, and live entertainment. Tickets for the festival are now live, exclusively on the District by Zomato app.

Since its inception in 2011, Delhi Comic Con has served as the launchpad of Comic Con India, becoming the country’s biggest celebration of fandom and creative storytelling. The festival has consistently drawn massive audiences, with its previous edition attracting over 52,000 visitors. Fans enjoyed live performances from comedians like Ashish Solanki, Ravi Gupta, and Rohan Joshi, alongside music by Panther and rapper Fotty Seven.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD, NODWIN Gaming, reflected on Delhi’s central role in the Comic Con movement: “Delhi will always be home for Comic Con India. This is where it all began in 2011, when a small group of fans, artists, and creators turned a simple idea into a cultural movement. Every year since, the city has given us the biggest stage and the loudest voice. This December, I can’t wait to see the capital once again transform into India’s biggest celebration of stories, characters, and imagination.”
Comic Con is more than a fan convention—it is a creative platform that bridges passion and profession. Attendees gain opportunities to participate in workshops, panel sessions, and meet-ups with industry professionals, while creators and cosplayers showcase their work, network, and receive real-time feedback from audiences.
The Delhi edition has expanded over the years to include PC and console gaming tournaments, VR experiences such as McLaren-themed racing and Chandrayaan simulations, pop-up fan zones, immersive cosplay competitions, and appearances by global creators. Past guests have included acclaimed names such as Ryan North (Marvel’s Squirrel Girl), Eisner Award-winner Jason Loo, Dan Parent (Archie Comics), David Lloyd (co-creator of V for Vendetta), and Japanese anime industry icons including Kappei Yamaguchi (One Piece), Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer), and producer Yuma Takahashi.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, added: “Delhi Comic Con has always been close to my heart because of the fans who make it what it is. Every year, I see months of hard work in costumes, artists proudly presenting their first printed comics, and groups of friends who plan their entire weekend around this festival. That excitement and warmth is what makes Comic Con special, and I cannot wait to see it come alive again this December.”
This year’s event is set against the backdrop of Delhi’s winter, offering a vibrant mix of comic books, manga, sci-fi, gaming, and immersive fan experiences.
Tickets for Delhi Comic Con 2025-26 are available now on the District app.
