
Industry veteran to drive global creative alignment, talent development, and innovation across markets
New York, September 11, 2025: Dentsu Creative has named John Mescall as its Global Chief Creative Partner, a move that reflects the agency’s continued focus on elevating creative excellence and building a unified global vision.
Based in New York, Mescall will work alongside Yasu Sasaki, Global Chief Creative Officer, to strengthen creative standards across dentsu’s network. He will lead initiatives aimed at prioritizing craft, fostering a global creative community, embracing AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows, and creating new opportunities for talent growth.

He has been recognized with more than 100 Cannes Lions (including 8 Grand Prix), D&AD Black and Yellow Pencils, One Show Best of Show, and multiple Clio, Spikes, LIA, and Webby Awards. He has also been named in Adweek’s Creativity 50 and ranked by Business Insider as one of the top 10 most creative people in advertising worldwide.
