With industry veterans onboard, the new vertical will enable brands to build authentic, multilingual narratives through India’s fastest-growing storytelling format.

Mumbai, August 2025: Dentsu India has announced the launch of the Dentsu Podcast Network (DPN), a new vertical dedicated to branded podcasting, aimed at helping brands craft deeper, more authentic connections with audiences across India. With end-to-end capabilities—from production and hosting to distribution and monetisation—DPN will integrate podcasts into brand strategy as a powerful medium of cultural and commercial engagement.

Podcasts are witnessing rapid adoption across India, cutting across metros and heartlands, English and vernacular audiences, mainstream and niche communities. Positioned as a cultural bridge, DPN is designed to help brands move beyond awareness and build long-term trust, affinity, and communities.

To drive this vision, dentsu has onboarded Aditya Kuber, Agith Kuruvilla, and Ashwin Gangakhedkar as Vice Presidents, reporting to Sahil Shah, CEO, Dentsu Creative Isobar. The trio, formerly the leadership team at Ideabrew Studios, brings proven expertise in multilingual content creation, monetisation, and brand integration. Collectively, they have built over 650+ shows, collaborated with 100+ brands, worked alongside 120+ creators, and pioneered original podcast IPs in seven languages.
Welcoming them, Sahil Shah said, “Podcasts are no longer a niche; they are the most immersive and authentic way to connect with audiences across languages. With the Dentsu Podcast Network (DPN) and the proven expertise of Aditya, Agith, and Ashwin, we are creating a future-ready solution that can tap into India’s cultural pulse and deliver meaningful impact for branded narratives.”
Sharing a joint statement, Aditya, Agith, and Ashwin added, “Podcasting is the next frontier for India’s creators and brands—a place where stories become culture, and culture becomes connection. With dentsu’s global scale and India’s creative energy, we are ready to reimagine how podcasts are created, distributed, and monetised—from vernacular hits to national chart-toppers, from audio intimacy to video innovation.”
Amit Wadhwa, CEO, Dentsu Creative & Media Brands, South Asia, dentsu, said, “With the Dentsu Podcast Network, we are unlocking the next frontier of branded content—where culture, creativity, and commerce converge. This is more than a media launch; it is a bold step towards shaping narratives that travel from the heart of Bharat to audiences across the globe.”
In the coming months, DPN will introduce original branded series, creator collaborations, vernacular-first IPs, video podcast formats, and immersive storytelling innovations. With this launch, dentsu India strengthens its leadership in cultural marketing, positioning podcasting as an essential pillar in modern brand and media strategy.
