Edstead Elevates Elvis Anthony to Chief Creative Officer to Spearhead Creative Vision

Longtime collaborator behind Edstead’s acclaimed documentaries to lead studio’s creative strategy and drive impactful storytelling.

National, 2nd July 2025: Edstead, the research-driven documentary studio renowned for purpose-led narratives, has appointed Elvis Anthony as Chief Creative Officer & Creative Head. A founding collaborator and creative cornerstone since Edstead’s inception, Elvis brings decades of expertise in branded content, visual storytelling, and creative leadership.

In his new role, Elvis will continue to lead Edstead’s production and delivery teams while shaping the studio’s broader creative strategy. His visionary approach has been instrumental in conceptualizing and directing flagship projects like The Future Schools, Great Indian Residential Schools, The Indian EdTech Story, and The Bharat Fintech Story, which have defined Edstead’s identity as a content-first studio.

Reflecting on his appointment, Elvis Anthony shared, “Being part of Edstead’s journey has been deeply rewarding. The studio is built on storytelling that drives impact, narratives that shift perspectives, and sparks conversations. Creativity, to me, is about meeting people where they are and resonating with them in powerful ways. I’m excited for this next chapter as we explore new stories, bold ideas, and fresh possibilities.”

Shekhar Bhattacharjee, Founder of Edstead, expressed his confidence in Elvis’s leadership, stating, “Elvis has been our invaluable pillar. His creative direction and leadership have helped shape our identity. With his elevation, we are confident he will steer Edstead into a new era of growth and innovation.”

Elvis’s career spans key roles across leading media houses and content platforms, including stints as Content Producer at DishTV Smart, Music Video Director at Times Music, and Video Producer at Outlook Publishing. His extensive experience and creative acumen position Edstead to further strengthen its reputation as a pioneer in meaningful, research-driven storytelling.
