
Three-year initiative to enhance infrastructure, education, and healthcare in 40 government schools, aiming to build model institutions for holistic development
Bengaluru, July 9, 2025:Embassy Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka, renewing its long-term commitment to the holistic development of government schools in Bengaluru. Effective from May 2025 to April 2028, the ₹15 crore, three-year initiative will support 40 government schools with comprehensive interventions across education, infrastructure, and healthcare.
This renewal builds on a successful partnership that began in 2018 and aligns with Embassy Group’s broader vision of transforming public education through sustained, meaningful impact.
Key Programme Highlights:
Educational support: Annual starter kits, subject-specific programmes (Math, Kannada, English, SpoInfrastructure development: Repairs, renovations, new classrooms, and daily maintenancerts), after-school academic support, higher education scholarships, career guidance, and industry exposure
Human resources: Additional salaries for guest and full-time teachers
Infrastructure development: Repairs, renovations, new classrooms, and daily maintenance
Health & hygiene: Preventive healthcare programmes aimed at improving student well-being and academic performance

Embassy Group’s commitment to sustainable education solutions dates back to 2012. Since then, the company has constructed 21 government schools, with three more currently under construction. Additional support includes solar panel installations in 15 schools and clean drinking water units in 23 schools.
