Royal Enfield-endorsed city+ mobility brand recognized for blending tradition with innovation
New Delhi, September 2, 2025 – Flying Flea, the city+ mobility brand endorsed by Royal Enfield, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2025 in the ‘Design Concept’ category for its debut product, the Flying Flea C6. The recognition underscores the brand’s design-first philosophy and its commitment to redefining urban mobility through innovation and cultural expression.
Inspired by the legendary Royal Enfield Flying Flea motorcycle of the 1940s—originally built for WWII and famously airdropped for all-terrain mobility—the FF.C6 revives the spirit of agility, lightness, and adaptability. The motorcycle seamlessly merges heritage with futuristic technology, presenting a minimalist silhouette, floating saddle and headlamp, teardrop tank, and a distinctive high-tensile exoskeleton frame.

The FF.C6 features a forged aluminium frame with a dynamic bent stroke flowing into the rear swing arm, delivering both strength and elegance. Its magnesium-cased battery integrates functional fins symbolizing innovation and legacy, while the modernized girder fork highlights mechanical elegance and provides riders with a connected, tactile experience. Integrated lighting and seamless cable routing preserve the bike’s visual purity, ensuring every line resonates with the brand’s ethos of “Live Lightly.”
Beyond engineering, Flying Flea is shaping cultural conversations around design. Earlier this year, the brand showcased Motototem, a collaboration with LA-based artist Mattia Biagi, at Salone del Mobile 2025. It is also engaging with students at Paris’ École Duperré to reimagine mobility through art, fashion, and installations, with its next creative showcase set for Paris Design Week 2025.
