Mumbai: In recognition of India’s growing public relations talent, four professionals from the country have been listed among the ‘100 Most Influential PR Professionals of 2025’ by the Symbol Creative Awards. This global powerlist honors communication professionals who shape brand narratives, manage media relations, and uphold reputations in the evolving industry. Representing India on this esteemed list are:
● Vidya Dilip, Director of Public Relations at Dentsu Creative Public Relations
● Deepansh Agarwal, PR Director at Aim High Consulting
● Preeti Rawat, Associate Director of Public Relations at Grapes Worldwide
● Shivvangii Chaturvedi, Business Director, Video & Public Relations at Wife
Deepansh Agarwal has also secured a place on the ‘100 Most Influential People in Creative Communication for 2025’, a broader compilation that recognizes top professionals across categories such as Influential Creative Minds, Marketing Professionals, PR Professionals, Creative Leaders, and Experience Marketing Professionals.
The Symbol Creative Awards powerlist is curated through a public voting process within the creative communication community. This year’s powerlist was shaped by 1,113 nominations and 3,731 votes, showcasing top PR leaders from global giants such as Netflix, Ogilvy, McCANN, and Publicis. The United States led the rankings with 25 professionals, followed by the United Kingdom (13) and Brazil (8).
Nominations were collected between February 10 and February 28, with voting held from February 18 to February 28. To maintain authenticity, voting was restricted to industry professionals, ensuring that only those with expertise could vote. Each voter could select up to 10 PR professionals they considered the most influential, with the final selection determined by total votes. In case of ties, the number of nominations received served as the deciding factor. The results are published in alphabetical order, emphasizing influence rather than ranking.
This recognition of Indian PR talent underscores the growing influence of Indian PR professionals on the global stage. According to PRCAI’s recent SPRINT 2024-25 survey report, the Indian PR industry surged to ₹2,500 crore in FY 2023, with a 19% Y-O-Y growth rate significantly above the global average. As per the report, the industry is expected to reach revenues of ₹4,570 crore by FY 2030.
