Brand unveils The Glow Up Academy with the ambitious goal of nurturing one digital creator in every PIN code across India, redefining influence through authenticity and purpose

National, July 4, 2025: Glow & Lovely, one of India’s leading skincare brands, has announced the launch of ‘Apni Roshni Baahar La’ (Bring Out Your Inner Light), a powerful nationwide movement dedicated to empowering young Indian women to lead, influence, and shine. This bold new initiative aims to celebrate and amplify the voices of women across the country, inspiring them to own their stories and make their mark on the digital world.

At the heart of this campaign is The Glow Up Academy, a pioneering creator-upskilling platform with a remarkable mission: to train and mentor one digital creator in each of India’s 19,101 PIN codes. Through structured learning modules, expert mentorship, and hands-on experience, the Academy will equip aspiring women influencers with the skills they need to build personal brands, craft compelling content, and succeed in the creator economy.

The campaign, crafted by Ogilvy Mumbai, features an inspiring collective of successful women creators — Shehnaaz Gill, Jannat Zubair, Nabha Natesh, Larissa D’Sa, Avneet Kaur, Shreya Priyam, and Chum Darang — who embody the spirit of ‘Apni Roshni Baahar La’. By sharing their journeys of courage and creativity, they highlight the limitless possibilities for women influencers in India’s evolving digital landscape, from metros to small towns.

Launching with a powerful, social-first film, the campaign challenges traditional perceptions of what it means to be an ‘influencer’. It redefines influence as standing out authentically, embracing one’s unique story, and building a community with purpose and intention.

Every woman has the potential to build her own identity, and through this campaign and The Glow Up Academy, we’re committed to helping her shine.”

Anurag Agnihotri, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India (West), added,

The campaign is live across Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms, supported by influencer partnerships, regionally adapted content, and on-ground outreach through The Glow Up Academy, furthering Glow & Lovely’s commitment to empowering women across every corner of India.
