Under Minister Rohan Khaunte’s leadership, Goa pioneers citizen-first governance with 200+ digitized services across 30+ departments
Panaji, June 2025:In a strong display of citizen-centric governance, GoaOnline—the state’s unified digital services platform—has crossed 9.34 lakh completed service deliveries, positioning Goa as a national leader in digital transformation.
Spearheaded by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C) under the guidance of Hon’ble Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, GoaOnline has become a symbol of efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. The platform now offers over 200 digitized services across 30+ departments, enabling citizens to apply for everything from birth certificates to business permits—without visiting a single government office.
Department-Wise Performance Highlights:
Revenue Department: 4.45 lakh applications completed for income and caste certificates
Labour & Employment: 3.16 lakh successful transactions for registrations and licenses
GIDC: 75,800 services delivered, including land allotments and business NOCs
Health Services: 36,300+ digital completions for birth/death records and medical NOCs
These numbers reflect not just uptake, but successful end-to-end service fulfillment, showcasing operational efficiency across departments.

Taking Digital Governance to the Last Mile
To ensure equitable access, the Gramin Mitra program extends GoaOnline services directly to rural households, delivering certificates, welfare entitlements, and subsidies at the doorstep.
Out of 9.54 lakh total applications, 9.34 lakh have already been fulfilled, demonstrating a rare and commendable 98% service delivery rate. This performance cements Goa’s place among India’s most digitally advanced states.
