
This year’s edition honours Mohammed Rafi Ji’s centenary and celebrates Ustad Zakir Hussain Ji’s legendary contribution to Indian music
Mumbai, July 2025: Hungama Digital Media proudly announces the 24th edition of Khazana – A Festival of Ghazals, one of India’s most cherished musical celebrations. Set to take place on 18th and 19th July 2025 at The Regal Room, Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai, the festival continues its tradition of blending soulful music with a heartfelt cause.
Presented by Union Bank of India and organised by Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and Parents Association Thalassemic Unit Trust (PATUT), Khazana 2025 will raise funds for cancer patients and thalassaemic children. This year’s edition will also pay a special tribute to two music legends—Mohammed Rafi Ji, marking his centenary year, and Ustad Zakir Hussain Ji, celebrating his unmatched legacy in rhythm and melody.
A Star-Studded Lineup Across Two Evenings
The festival promises a rich confluence of legendary voices, emerging talent, and poetic brilliance:
Day 1 – Friday, 18th July 2025Hosted by Rakshanda Khan, the evening will feature performances by Anup Jalota and Barnali Chattopadhyay, Ajay Pohankar & Abhijit Pohankar, Sudeep Banerji, Kalpana Gandharv, and the dynamic duo Osman Mir & Aamir Mir. Rising talents Hetvi Sethia and Saleem Raja, winners of the Khazana Artist Aloud Talent Hunt, will also grace the stage.
Day 2 – Saturday, 19th July 2025Hosted by Prachee Shah Paandya, the finale evening will showcase Talat Aziz, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Himaanshu Sharrma, and poetic recitations by Uday Divakar Pandey and Fareed Ahmed Khan, also Talent Hunt winners. A grand tribute to Ustad Zakir Hussain Ji will feature Rakesh Chaurasia, Shikhar Naad Qureshi, Ojas Adhiya, and Sanjoy Das, followed by memorable performances from Pratibha Singh Baghel and Rekha Bhardwaj.
Special mentions Vipul Kumar Ruhela and Minnatullah Khan will also perform, highlighting the festival’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of ghazal talent.
