
Landmark agreement expected to double bilateral trade to USD 120 billion by 2030; TVS Motor to leverage FTA for Norton Motorcycles’ UK launch

BENGALURU / LONDON, July 24, 2025:TVS Motor Company has hailed the signing of the historic India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day official visit to Britain, calling it a transformative step for Indian manufacturing and design. The agreement is projected to double bilateral trade from USD 60 billion to USD 120 billion by 2030, advancing the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat and amplifying the Government of India’s flagship Make in India initiative.
For TVS Motor Company, the FTA comes at a strategic juncture as it gears up to introduce a new line of Norton Motorcycles in the UK, a move that aligns with its global expansion plans following the acquisition of the iconic British motorcycle brand.
