Gurgaon’s Knowledge Center Pilots One-Day Design Lab to Streamline Architecture and Real Estate Projects

Delhi NCR, July 21, 2025: A quiet revolution is taking shape in Gurgaon’s Knowledge Center, where a One-Day Design Lab is being beta-tested to transform how architects, developers, and clients collaborate. Currently in soft launch, the Lab is designed to compress what usually takes weeks—material selection, catalogue reviews, technical clarifications, and client approvals—into a single, seamless working day.

At first glance, the space resembles a contemporary design studio. But a closer look reveals its unique structure—tables filled with material samples, curated catalogues lining the walls, and small teams huddled in review rooms. There’s no flashy launch campaign or social media buzz yet—just a steady stream of professionals quietly testing a model that could soon become the new norm for architectural workflows.

A Purpose-Built Ecosystem for Architects
The One-Day Design Lab integrates five interconnected zones that remove friction from the design-to-decision process:
Catalogue Library – A streamlined, updated collection of product information, eliminating scattered PDFs and endless email trails.
Reference Library – Access to working drawings, legal references, case studies, and construction details for real-world context.
Networking Café – A relaxed yet productive zone for spontaneous interactions among designers, vendors, and clients.
Conference Rooms – Fully equipped spaces designed for presentations, approvals, and decision-making.

In recent weeks, selected studios have used the Lab to conduct material walkthroughs, finalize client selections, and align vendor deliverables—tasks that would typically stretch across multiple platforms, meetings, and missed calls.

Early Reactions from the Beta Phase
Ankur Jain, CEO and founder of the Knowledge Center, shared:
“We’re calling it a beta, but it’s already working. We’re observing how people use the space—what triggers momentum, where friction still exists—so we launch something truly useful, not just exciting. Designers appreciate the pace at which clients make decisions when the right tools are readily available. Builders are already exploring it as a neutral zone for stakeholder alignment. Even educators have shown interest in using it for live critique sessions and industry exposure.”
In the coming weeks, the Knowledge Center plans to introduce a digital prep tool that lets teams shortlist materials, references, and brand catalogues remotely before their session. A flexible membership model is also being developed, enabling studios, consultants, and project heads to use the space on demand.
The Road Ahead
For now, the One-Day Design Lab remains in quiet preview mode. But if early feedback is any indication, this grounded, tactile, and highly efficient workflow could become a new standard in India’s architectural and real estate industries.
