2025 edition to feature top Japanese IPs, anime screenings, concerts, and cosplay events for Indian fans
New Delhi, September 3, 2025 – Following last year’s overwhelming success with more than 47,200 attendees, Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! is set to return in 2025 with a bigger and more immersive celebration of Japanese anime and culture. Supported by Dentsu, the event promises to bring Indian fans closer to authentic anime experiences with exclusive content, live performances, and cultural showcases.
Anime has rapidly grown into a cornerstone of Indian pop culture, attracting a vibrant and passionate community across the country. Last year’s edition saw fans singing along in Japanese with anime song artists, enjoying live stage events, and immersing themselves in anime screenings and exhibitions. The enthusiastic reception has set the stage for an even grander edition this year.
The 2025 edition will feature nearly 20 Japanese IP holders and anime-related companies, offering exclusive content from beloved franchises. The lineup includes 5 Centimetres Per Second, Takopi’s Original Sin, Doraemon, Shin chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India, Princession Orchestra, BEYBLADE X, Tougen Anki, Kamen Rider, Godzilla, Rooster Fighter, TOJIMA TANZABURO WANTS TO BE “KAMEN RIDER,” Rolling Along, and MAKE A GIRL, among others.
