
Industry veteran brings 25 years of expertise to lead strategic communications, brand positioning, and marketing for three key businesses of the Sterlite Group
Mumbai, June 30, 2025: Sterlite Electric, a global leader in product and solutions, along with its power transmission infrastructure arm Resonia Ltd. and clean energy business Serentica Renewables, has announced the appointment of Namrata Mehra as Head of Brand, Marketing & Communication Strategy across all three businesses.
In her new role, Namrata will oversee brand positioning, marketing, and communications initiatives — spanning media relations, internal communications, and digital strategy. She will collaborate closely with leadership and key stakeholders to align business objectives with integrated communication strategies and compelling narratives for the three companies.
Namrata brings nearly 25 years of experience in corporate communications, integrated marketing, design, project execution, sustainability, ESG, customer centricity, and brand strategy. She previously held senior roles at Godrej Properties Limited, where she played a pivotal role in driving strategic communications and brand growth.
Commenting on the appointment, Ruhie Pande, Group CHRO and Group Chief of Marketing & Communications at Sterlite Group, said, “We are happy to have Namrata on board to lead our brand, marketing, and communications functions. Namrata holds a Master’s degree in Marketing & Strategy from the Indian School of Business (ISB).
