Four-part series showcases AlUla, Jeddah, and Riyadh as inspiring destinations for global and women travellers
Mumbai, September 8, 2025: National Geographic has premiered its latest travel series, Postcards from Saudi Arabia, a visually immersive four-part journey hosted by actor and presenter Ridhi Dogra. The series highlights Saudi Arabia’s evolving tourism landscape, spotlighting its culture, heritage, and modern experiences. It is now airing on National Geographic Channel and streaming on JioHotstar.
Ridhi Dogra takes viewers through three UNESCO World Heritage sites — Jeddah’s historic Al-Balad, Riyadh’s At-Turaif in Diriyah, and the ancient marvels of AlUla’s Hegra. Each episode captures the country’s unique blend of history, tradition, and modernity. From Red Sea adventures and desert luxury in AlUla, to street art and cuisine in Jeddah, and Riyadh’s seamless mix of heritage and innovation, the series presents Saudi as a destination rich with contrasts and experiences.
