Olive by Embassy Unveils Open Hotels: World’s First Fully Remote, AI-Native Hotel Brand

India-born platform cuts staff ratios by 57%, boosts revenue, and exports Indian hospitality talent globally in real time

Bengaluru, July 3, 2025 — Olive by Embassy, the technology-driven hospitality division of Embassy Group, has announced the launch of Open Hotels, the world’s first fully remote-operated, AI-native hotel brand. Open Hotels reimagines the economics of budget-to-midscale properties by slashing staff-to-room ratios by 57% and enhancing guest satisfaction and profitability through advanced technology.

The platform is available in two flexible models:

Franchise Model: Hotel owners retain their own staff while accessing Open’s complete tech stack.

Full Management Model: Hotel owners fully outsource operations to Open, which runs their hotels remotely via its AI command center.

Both options offer plug-and-play deployment without additional capital expenditure (CapEx).

> “We were the first to operate hotel receptions through video conferencing. When we integrated Voice AI and analytics, both guest satisfaction and margins improved dramatically,” said Kahraman Yigit, CEO & Co-founder, Olive by Embassy. “Our technology was too effective to keep in-house, so we’re launching it publicly as Open Hotels.”

Open Hotels has already signed 12 properties across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysore, Vijayawada, and Chikmagalur.

Remote Reception and Optimized Operations

Traditional hotel front desks are replaced by centrally managed live video receptions. Onsite operational staff remain present, but Open reduces staff-to-room ratios from 0.7 to 0.3, enabling a 57% gain in efficiency. “We use fewer people and deliver more service,” Yigit added.

Real-Time Guest Intelligence with Voice AI

Open’s Voice AI system continuously monitors spoken interactions at receptions (fully GDPR and DPDP-compliant). When dissatisfaction is detected, remote teams are alerted instantly to intervene and enhance the guest experience in real time. Audio-video analytics and predictive housekeeping add to Open’s comprehensive situational awareness, delivering superior service with fewer onsite staff.

Open Hotels has filed a patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its pioneering Remote Hotel Management System.

From India to the World

With over 2.5 million hotel rooms in India, Olive by Embassy envisions Open Hotels as a platform capable of scaling to one million rooms — a first-of-its-kind milestone. By centralizing operations in India, Open enables Indian hospitality talent to deliver world-class service anywhere on the planet, in real time, without the need for visas or international travel.

> “No planes. No visas. Just real-time hospitality from Bangalore to the world,” said Yigit.
