Elucidating on the findings of the survey, Parijat Chakraborty, Group Service Line Leader, Public Affairs, Corporate Reputation, ESG, & CSR said, “Mr. Narendra Modi has displayed consistency in his performance with more number of citizens reposing their faith in his performance and ability as the prime minister of the country. North and west continue to be his bastion with the largest number of supporters and those believing in him. A bit disconnect and disengagement with the south which the PM could focus on. About his govt’s performance, education, cleanliness and healthcare are the areas winning plaudits where citizens have been the biggest beneficiaries. Though some of the areas like inflation, poverty, corruption and unemployment fall short on the expectations of the citizens. Some of the impact in these areas has also to do with global factors, of the post pandemic recovery, global economic slowdown due to the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, etc and further weakening of the rupee against the dollar.”
