S8UL welcomes top international players, award-winning coach ZIM, and analyst Cali to build a world-class CODM squad ahead of the Esports World Cup 2025.
Mumbai, July 2, 2025: S8UL Esports, India’s leading esports organization and a global force in gaming content, has announced the signing of world-renowned Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) players Jezmond Kalaola (Jezz), Giffran Prakasa (Frann), and Gustav Sausse (Marvel) to its roster. The powerhouse lineup is further strengthened with the onboarding of acclaimed coach Darian Abreu (ZIM) and strategic analyst Carlo Luis Salcedo (Cali Gaming).
This move marks a significant step in S8UL’s mission to assemble championship-caliber teams across top esports titles worldwide. Currently competing in 12 games, S8UL stands as the only Indian organization with such a broad competitive footprint, underscoring its commitment to excellence across the esports spectrum.
Welcoming the new additions, Naman Mathur aka Mortal, Co-founder of S8UL, shared, “Welcoming Jezz, Frann, Marvel, ZIM, and Cali into the S8UL family is a big moment for us—not just as a team, but as a community. They bring global experience, fresh perspective, and the kind of energy we value. This move reflects our vision to build strong, competitive teams while staying true to who we are.”
The new roster boasts impressive individual achievements:
Jezz (USA): Winner of the 2022 CODM World Championship with a $700,000 prize, and Top 8 finishes in the last two World Championships. Recent victories include the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Season 5 – North America in 2024.
Frann (Indonesia): Top 8 at the 2023 CODM World Championship and undefeated across Major Series titles from Seasons 7 to 12 since 2022.
Marvel (France): Champion at SPS Season 5 – India and Season 6 – Europe, and Top 5 finisher at the 2021 CODM World Championship – West Finals. He has consistently qualified for every World Championship since 2021.
Sharing his excitement, Jezz said, “Joining S8UL is a big step in my journey. The opportunity to team up with top players makes this roster truly special. S8UL has a clear vision and the drive to be the best, and I’m looking forward to giving everything I have to help the team succeed.”
These star signings join Indian talents Samruddha Ghadge (SAMs), Samartha Ghadge (JOKOs), and Rishi Dubey (Trunks), who were signed earlier this year, completing a formidable lineup.
The squad will be led by coach ZIM, awarded International Best CODM Coach in 2020 for his leadership with Tribe Gaming’s championship-winning roster. He will work alongside Cali Gaming, whose strategic analysis will be crucial in elevating the team’s performance.
S8UL’s revamped roster comes ahead of the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, where it will be the first and only Indian team representing the nation in Call of Duty: Mobile. With this high-profile lineup, S8UL is poised to make a lasting impact on both the Indian and international CODM competitive scenes.
