India’s esports powerhouse gears up to represent the nation at EWC 2025 in Riyadh, competing for a share of the record-breaking $70 million prize pool
India, June 2025 — S8UL, a global leader in esports and gaming content, has officially secured its place in the grand finals of Apex Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and EAFC 25 at the prestigious Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With a historic prize pool of $70 million (approx. INR 598 crore), EWC 2025 is set to be one of the largest esports tournaments ever.
✅ Apex Legends — S8UL’s all-Australian squad of Rick Wirth (Sharky), Benjamin Spaseski (Jesko), and Tom Canty (Legacy) qualified via the ALGS 2025 Split 1 Pro League (APAC South), finishing in the top five. They now advance to the Midseason Playoffs at EWC, vying for a $2 million prize pool.
✅ EAFC 25 — Germany’s Jonas Wirth (Jonny), representing S8UL, earned his spot through the Virtual Bundesliga, while Aaron Rivera (Happy) will compete in the Play-Ins for the final EWC slots.
✅ MLBB — S8UL’s dominant MLBB roster clinched its berth by winning the NACT Spring Season and will now battle for the $3 million prize in the MSC 2025 at EWC.
Additionally, S8UL’s athletes continue to push for qualifications in Call of Duty: Warzone, StarCraft II, Chess, Tekken 8, and Fatal Fury, reinforcing the org’s position as India’s leading force in international esports.
