New Delhi, August 21, 2025: Shell India has introduced the upgraded Shell Helix Ultra, its premium motor oil now engineered to meet the advanced 2025 API SQ Standard, delivering enhanced performance and engine protection. The launch also unveiled Shell’s new global campaign, ‘Unleash the Power Within’, making its India debut with Formula 1 icons and Scuderia Ferrari HP drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
The campaign launch reflects the latest milestone in Shell’s 75-year partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP, underscoring its enduring legacy of innovation and performance. Accompanying the product upgrade is a bold new packaging design for the Shell Helix range, aimed at improving visibility, consumer convenience, and reinforcing Shell’s strong association with leading automotive OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motors, Nissan Motor Corporation, and BMW M Motorsports.
At the heart of the new Shell Helix Ultra is PurePlus Technology, which converts natural gas into 99.5% pure base oil, enabling up to 1.8% more engine power, 3.4% improved responsiveness, and 100% engine power retention. This translates into smoother driving, better fuel economy, and long-term engine health.
