Veteran cement industry professional to drive product excellence, innovation, and global best practices
Mumbai, September 1, 2025: Shree Cement, one of India’s leading cement manufacturers, has announced the appointment of Mahendra Pratap Joshi as its new Head of Quality.
Mr. Joshi, an accomplished manufacturing leader with more than four decades of experience in the cement industry, is an alumnus of Shree Cement. Over the years, he has held senior roles with reputed organizations including Aditya Cement, Heidelberg Cement, and Orient Cement. He rejoined Shree Cement in September 2024 from Orient Cement, where he served as Unit Head, and has since been associated with the Manufacturing Excellence team in Kolkata.
In his new role, Mr. Joshi will oversee the company’s quality function with a mandate to drive product excellence, raw material optimization, raw mix design, and new product development. He will also work to strengthen quality systems and embed global best practices across operations.
