Singapore, September 4, 2025: Singapore Airlines (SIA) has launched a new in-flight safety video that reimagines essential safety instructions while highlighting Singapore’s cultural and artistic diversity. Produced in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the video takes passengers on a visual journey across the island’s vibrant landmarks, neighbourhoods, and communities.
Shot against backdrops such as the Esplanade, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa, Lau Pa Sat, and Jurong Lake Gardens, the video features SIA cabin crew engaging with local communities. From a lion dance troupe to Kolam artists, Silat practitioners, and aqua aerobics enthusiasts, the demonstrations weave safety procedures into Singapore’s rich cultural tapestry.
The production combines real-life footage with watercolour-inspired visual treatments, echoing Singapore’s dynamic arts scene and its iconic city murals. The artistic approach reinforces both the country’s multicultural heritage and the airline’s innovative storytelling.
Commenting on the launch, Mr Vinod Kannan, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, Singapore Airlines, said:
