
Gavaskar, Shastri, Sehwag, Pathan, Jadeja among names; matches live from Sept 9 on Sony Sports & Sony LIV
Mumbai, September 8, 2025: Sony Sports Network is all set to broadcast the Asia Cup 2025, beginning September 9 in the United Arab Emirates. The 17th edition of the tournament will feature eight teams—India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong—fighting for continental glory ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Fans can watch all matches live on Sony Sports Network channels and stream them on Sony LIV, with commentary in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. India will open its campaign against UAE on September 10, while the final is slated for September 28.
The network also brings back its popular show Extraaa Innings T20, anchored by a high-profile panel of cricketing legends. The line-up includes Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Ajay Jadeja, Sanjay Manjrekar, Robin Uthappa, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, and more.
