The appointment follows Blackstone India’s recent acquisition of South City Mall, reflecting the investment firm’s commitment to enhancing its retail portfolio in India.
Amit Kumar brings over two decades of expertise in mall management, retail leasing, and commercial real estate, having held leadership positions at several top-tier real estate and retail companies. His extensive experience includes driving tenant mix optimization, boosting operational efficiencies, and fostering strong retailer partnerships across large-format retail properties.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Amit Kumar said:
