New Program to Support Early-Stage Climate Tech Startups in AI, Green Hydrogen, Blockchain, and Renewable Energy
Ahmedabad, 23rd June 2025: Startupbootcamp Australia, in partnership with BRK Ventures, has launched Startupbootcamp India, a pre-accelerator program designed to fast-track India’s next wave of climate tech and clean energy startups. Focused on early-stage ventures, the initiative aims to equip entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship, and global connections needed to drive India’s transition to net zero.
Set to begin in August, this 3-month program will support startups in six high-impact domains:
AI-Driven Energy Systems and Smart Grids
Renewable Integration and Smart Energy Infrastructure
Next-Gen Energy Storage and Grid Flexibility
Green Hydrogen
Net Zero & Decarbonisation
Blockchain-Enabled Decentralized Energy Markets
Only 12 teams will be selected from over 300 expected applications. Startups at idea, MVP, or pre-revenue stages are encouraged to apply before 31st July 2025.
The program culminates in a Showcase Day in November 2025, where startups will pitch to leading venture capitalists and early-stage investors. Selected ventures will gain access to international mentorship, strategic partnerships, and a global customer base to refine their go-to-market strategies.
Trevor Townsend, CEO, Startupbootcamp Australia, said:
“India has the talent and scale to lead global climate solutions. Our partnership with BRK Ventures will empower founders to build commercially viable, climate-aligned startups with global impact.”
Kamal Bansal, Managing Partner, BRK Ventures, added:
