The Tata Group’s ethnic wear brand celebrates early festive season with unmatched value on sarees and ensembles

Bengaluru, 14 June 2025 – Taneira, the ethnic wear brand from the Tata Group, has announced its first-ever nationwide sale, offering shoppers up to 40% off across a wide selection of products. This strategic move comes on the back of an impressive ~30% growth in FY25, fuelled by robust wedding shopping sentiment and growing consumer preference for authentic handcrafted apparel.

The limited-period sale spans sarees, ready-to-wear ensembles, unstitched kurta sets, and festive lehengas — all crafted from pure and natural fabrics that uphold India’s rich textile legacy. With 80 stores in 41 cities, Taneira aims to further consolidate its position as India’s go-to destination for premium ethnic wear.

Announcing the sale, Somprabh Kumar Singh, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Taneira, said:
“This is the first time we’re offering discounts across such a vast range of products. With up to 40% off, customers can not only enjoy unmatched value but also experience the richness and purity that define Taneira. Our promise of quality, authenticity, and distinctive design ensures this sale will be a truly special opportunity for ethnic wear connoisseurs.”

The sale coincides with the early onset of the festive season, providing consumers a chance to stock up on wedding and festive essentials. Taneira’s collection pays homage to India’s weaving traditions, offering everything from Banarasis, Kanjeevarams, Jamdanis, and Tussars, to Silk Ikat, Kota Doria, Chanderis, Maheshwaris, Sambalpuri silks, South silks, and even vegan silk options. Notably, the brand offers certified Pure Zari Kanjeevarams, ensuring authenticity and craftsmanship.

Each Taneira store is designed as a haven for saree lovers, featuring curated wedding zones, festive edits, and everyday essentials — all under one roof.
