Life-sized donation installation with prosthetic limbs turns compassion into action across Sri Lanka’s religious and public spaces
Sri Lanka, August 1, 2025: TBWA\Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Maliban and the Meththa Foundation, has launched HumaniTill—a powerful public engagement initiative that transforms the act of giving into a tangible force for good. Designed to support people with disabilities across Sri Lanka, HumaniTill is an evocative donation installation created to raise funds for prosthetic limbs.

The centerpiece of the initiative is a life-sized human figure with a transparent prosthetic arm and leg, representing those who have lost limbs due to illness or accidents. More than a traditional donation box, HumaniTill serves as a striking visual symbol of empathy—directly connecting public generosity to the restoration of mobility, dignity, and independence.
“HumaniTill is not just a campaign—it’s a movement,” said Renuka Marshall, Managing Director, TBWA\Sri Lanka. “It answers our core belief that creativity must drive meaningful social impact. We’re proud to partner with Maliban and Meththa Foundation to bring this vision to life.”

Launched during the sacred Poson Poya season at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanwelisaya in Anuradhapura, the campaign aligned spiritual giving with real-world outcomes. Thousands of devotees engaged with the installation, resulting in donations that have already funded three below-knee prosthetic limbs, with a fourth on the way. Each prosthetic costs a minimum of Rs. 60,000 (approx. USD 200), with the initiative focused on affordable, high-quality mobility solutions.
“This was a moment where brand, culture, and compassion converged,” said Soruban Sivapatham, Chief Creative Officer, TBWA\Sri Lanka. “HumaniTill shows how quiet, human ideas can create profound change.”
Looking ahead, HumaniTill is set to expand to 12 major Buddhist temples across the country, aligning with monthly Poya holidays to amplify its impact. Plans are also in motion to bring the installation to public spaces like malls and high-traffic venues, inviting more Sri Lankans to be part of the movement.
With HumaniTill, TBWA\Sri Lanka continues its commitment to purposeful creativity—proving that even modest acts of giving can lead to life-changing transformation.
