
Campaign film and regional collaborations showcase food as India’s universal language of love and connection.
India-wide release, August 12, 2025: In a heartfelt tribute to India’s 79th Independence Day, The Baker’s Dozen (TBD), the country’s leading artisanal bakery brand, has launched its ‘Different Tongues, One Taste’ campaign, celebrating food as the ultimate connector across cultures, languages, and traditions.
The campaign’s film travels across India, capturing everyday moments where TBD’s baked goods become expressions of love, care, and togetherness. From a wife surprising her husband with Banana Walnut Cake, to a father slipping a Donut Cake into his son’s school bag, to a working woman making sandwiches with Fourgrain Sourdough for her lunch, the film showcases how food bridges distances and differences. In another touching moment, a young girl tells her mother that TBD’s Dark Chocolate Cookies taste just like home.
Complementing the film, TBD has partnered with food creators from Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, and West Bengal to reinterpret cherished regional recipes using its range of artisanal products. This collaboration reflects the brand’s belief that, despite India’s vast diversity, the shared joy of eating good, pure food unites everyone.
