The film honors 8,850 hours of voluntary service by a deaf and non-verbal Titan employee who has guided Hosur’s traffic and inspired inclusion for 15 years

National, 23 September 2025: On the occasion of the International Day of Sign Languages, Titan Company Limited has released His Hands, His Voice, a moving tribute to Mr. V. Krishnamurthy, a deaf and non-verbal Titan employee whose voluntary service as a traffic warden in Hosur has become a symbol of resilience, safety, and inclusion.

For over 15 years, Krishnamurthy has devoted more than 8,850 hours to regulating traffic at Hosur’s busiest junctions. With the NH-44 highway being one of India’s most accident-prone corridors, his silent yet powerful service has brought order to chaos. Using only hand signals and Indian Sign Language, he guides over 60 pedestrians and vehicles every minute, urges helmet use, and shares road-safety reminders with commuters.
The campaign film uses the metaphor of hands to highlight Krishnamurthy’s unwavering contribution—not through words, but through action.
Sridhar N.E., Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Company Limited, said, “Volunteering has been deeply ingrained in Titan’s ethos for decades, and Krishnamurthy is a shining example of how service can transcend barriers. His story reflects how one individual’s determination can create a ripple effect of safety, awareness, and inclusion across an entire community. We are proud to have leaders like him in our volunteer family.”
Sirish Chandrashekar, Head of Corporate Brand, Titan Company Limited, added, “At Titan, we believe true inclusion is a value we hold dear and celebrate through stories that inspire. Krishnamurthy’s hands do more than guide traffic; they guide us all towards empathy, resilience, and civic responsibility. This film is our way of honoring him.”
Over the years, Titan’s volunteer-led traffic initiative has become a vital support system for Hosur, complementing local police and civic authorities. What began with a handful of employees has grown into a 100% volunteer-driven movement, logging over 90,000 service hours and positively impacting more than 3.5 lakh residents. Today, over 30 Titan employees and 20 volunteers from other corporations manage traffic during peak hours, conduct helmet-awareness campaigns, and organize safety workshops for schools and driver hubs.
From a creative perspective, Maitri Ramkumar, Sr. Creative Director – Digital, Ogilvy Bangalore, said, “Krishnamurthy’s journey isn’t just about overcoming a challenge; it’s about extraordinary resilience made inspiring with profound positivity. This film celebrates that spirit, and Titan wins hearts by showing how much they value their people. We’re proud to help bring this story to life.”
The His Hands, His Voice film is now live across Titan’s official digital platforms.
