World’s fastest man engages with students at Dream Dash finale, marking launch of DreamSetGo’s signature Dream Icons program
Mumbai, 26 September 2025: The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, made a spectacular appearance in Mumbai as part of his India visit with DreamSetGo, India’s first premium bespoke sports experiences and travel platform. Bolt’s visit coincided with the launch of Dream Icons, DreamSetGo’s signature initiative that brings global sporting legends face-to-face with Indian fans through immersive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
As DreamSetGo’s inaugural Dream Icon in India, Bolt attended the Mumbai grand finale of Dream Dash, India’s national school sprinting movement. The event saw over 7,000 students from 400 schools across 15 cities participate in city-level qualifiers. Hosted at Jamnabai Narsee School, the finale allowed students to showcase their talent in front of Bolt, who personally interacted with participants, answered questions, shared stories from his track career, encouraged them to dream big, and presented prizes to winners.
Reflecting on his visit, Usain Bolt said: “Being in India with DreamSetGo is an incredible experience. Meeting so many passionate fans reminds me why sports matters and why it connects people everywhere. The energy here is amazing, and I’m glad to be part of DreamSetGo’s vision to create world-class experiences that bring fans even closer to the sports they love.”
Daniel D’Souza, Co-founder of DreamSetGo, added: “Having Usain Bolt as our first Dream Icon in India underscores our commitment to making sporting legends accessible to Indian audiences. This is about inspiring young athletes and creating memories they will cherish for a lifetime.”
Bolt was joined by DreamSetGo founders Monish Shah and Daniel D’Souza, highlighting the company’s mission to deepen the connection between fans and the sports they love. Following Mumbai, the Dream Dash journey moves to Delhi for its second grand finale at Pathways School on 28 September, where Bolt will once again meet and motivate young athletes.
