Top four teams to secure a shot at representing South Asia in VCT Ascension Pacific 2025

New Delhi, June 27, 2025: The final and decisive chapter of South Asia’s premier VALORANT tournament has arrived. OMEN VALORANT Challengers South Asia (OMEN VCSA) 2025 Split 3 kicks off today, June 27, with electrifying matches scheduled online through July 3. This split is the ultimate battleground, determining the four elite teams that will advance to the VCT Ascension Pacific Qualifiers, first online on July 7–8, and then culminating with an intense LAN event in Gurugram on July 12–13.
OMEN VCSA, a Riot Games and NODWIN Gaming IP with OMEN by HP as title sponsor, is the official gateway for South Asian teams to reach the international VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 stage. Split 3 features a prize pool of ₹53 lakhs, intensifying the competition as teams vie for Challenger Points to secure their place in the Ascension Qualifiers.
The current Challenger Points leaderboard is fiercely contested, with Revenant X Spark (155 points) leading, followed by Velocity Gaming (130 points) and Reckoning Esports (120 points)—setting up a thrilling fight to the finish.
Eight top teams will clash in this split: returning powerhouses Revenant Esports, Reckoning Esports, S8UL, Velocity Gaming, GE Academy, and Dot Exe Esports, joined by newcomers XO IND and Asterisk, who qualified through the Promotion and Relegation system. With every match potentially reshaping the leaderboard, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
So far, Velocity Gaming dominated Split 1 with an unbeaten run, while Revenant X Spark captured the Split 2 crown after a dramatic LAN finale, defeating Reckoning Esports, whose star player Kirill ‘moner’ Matsanov earned MVP honors with 258 kills and clutch performances.
The 2025 edition of OMEN VCSA has brought a revamped format with a cumulative prize pool of INR 1.13 crore and a points-based progression system, making Split 3 the final opportunity for teams to secure one of four coveted spots in the Ascension Qualifiers. Only one team from these qualifiers will represent South Asia on the VCT Ascension Pacific stage, facing the best from across Asia-Pacific.
Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder & Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, said:“Split 3 is where dreams will either come true or end. It’s the last chance for teams to earn their ticket to the VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 and make the region proud. Fans can expect the fiercest VALORANT battles of the year.”
Sukamal Pegu, Esports Lead, South Asia, Riot Games, added:“This is the most critical phase. Every match in Split 3 is a do-or-die clash with immense pressure. The talent showcased so far has been extraordinary, and Split 3 promises a grand finale to this intense journey.”
