
Indian esports giants defeat S8UL 3-1 in a thrilling grand finale, setting new benchmarks for South Asian VALORANT viewership
New Delhi, July 15, 2025: Velocity Gaming has officially booked its slot for VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 after a dominant 3-1 victory over S8UL in the Grand Finale of OMEN VCSA 2025 Ascension Qualifiers LAN, held at Ardee Mall, Gurugram. With this triumph, Velocity Gaming takes home ₹24.3 lakhs in prize money, while runner-up S8UL secures ₹12.15 lakhs. The team will now represent India and South Asia on the international VALORANT stage in Bangkok this October.

S8UL earned their spot in the grand finale after defeating DOT EXE Esports 3-1 in the Lower Bracket Final, but Velocity Gaming’s undefeated upper bracket run and clutch plays sealed the series in four intense maps.

Day 2 of the LAN also featured a creator showmatch with popular gaming influencers like Sikhwarrior, Mackletv, Chhabra Saab, and Pooja Bisht, offering fans an entertaining break between competitive matches.
