Mumbai, August 21, 2025: Venator Search Partners, a retained executive search firm specializing in the banking and financial services sector, has played a key role in assisting Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd. with the appointment of Deepak Agarwal as its new Head of Strategy, effective August 18, 2025.
Agarwal brings more than two decades of diverse experience across leading financial institutions, including Axis Bank, Mastercard, Deloitte, and KPMG. At Axis Bank, he spearheaded retail business strategy, while his broader career spans large-scale transformation initiatives across India, the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. He holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) and an engineering degree from Delhi Technological University.
This is the second major leadership mandate Venator Search Partners has executed for Ujjivan SFB in recent times, following its role in the appointment of Sanjeev Nautiyal as Managing Director & CEO, who previously served as Deputy Managing Director at SBI.
