Counterpoint survey ranks Xiaomi top in service speed, cost efficiency, and accessibility across India
New Delhi, September 15, 2025: Xiaomi India has emerged as a leader in after-sales service, according to a new consumer survey conducted by Counterpoint Research. The survey highlights Xiaomi’s ability to turn a common industry pain point into a competitive strength, with the brand ranking high on key parameters such as service speed, repair costs, and accessibility.
Xiaomi leads in service turnaround time, with 52% of customer issues resolved within just four hours, demonstrating the brand’s focus on delivering efficient support at scale. In a market where long wait times and repeat visits often frustrate customers, Xiaomi has set a benchmark for swift resolutions.
When it comes to repair costs, 37% of Xiaomi repairs were completed at under ₹1,000, making it one of the most cost-efficient service providers among smartphone brands. Transparent pricing, combined with lower repair costs, has reinforced Xiaomi’s reputation for affordability.
The survey also shows Xiaomi as the most accessible Android brand in India, with 89% of users satisfied with service center availability, reflecting the company’s deep retail and service network across the country.
Commenting on the findings, Mr. Sudhin Mathur, Chief Operating Officer, Xiaomi India, said: “Xiaomi’s strength lies not just in building great products, but in creating a truly connected ecosystem – one that feels complete only when users are genuinely satisfied. After-sales is no longer just about fixing problems – it’s about delivering a fulfilling ownership experience. We are honoured to be a trusted partner in this journey and deeply thankful to our community for choosing us, as we stay committed to consistently improving the experience.”
Based on insights from over 2,000 users across 28 cities, the survey reveals that while the industry still grapples with challenges like long wait times, repeat visits, and unclear pricing, Xiaomi’s customer-first approach continues to set new benchmarks for accessibility, affordability, and transparency in after-sales support.
