Mumbai, July 29, 2025: Zee TV is set to refresh its daily primetime programming with the launch of Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, a new non-fiction reality show that blends spirited entertainment with emotionally rich storytelling. Premiering on 3rd August at 9 PM and airing daily from 9:30 PM, the show brings together 11 celebrity women from diverse backgrounds who leave their urban comforts behind to live in a rural Indian village for 60 days.
An adaptation of Zee Marathi’s acclaimed format Jau Bai Gavat, this Hindi version—produced by Zee Studios—forms a key part of Zee TV’s renewed brand philosophy Aapka Apna Zee TV, which focuses on rooted, relatable narratives.
Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the show unfolds as a compelling social experiment, where participants are challenged to adapt to life without gadgets or luxuries. From milking cows and cooking on chulhas to engaging with villagers and managing daily chores, the celebrities experience the heart of rural India firsthand.
The participating celebrities include: Anita Hassanandani, Krishna Shroff, Aishwarya Khare, Sumukhi Suresh, Anjuum Faakih, Rameet Sandhu, Reha Sukheja, Erika Packard, Surabhi Mehra, Samriddhi Mehra, and Dolly Javed—each embarking on a personal journey that promises growth, emotional transformation, and authentic human connection.
