Cooking challenge at Lulu Mall, Bengaluru highlights regional flavours; winners take home cash prizes and hampers
Bengaluru, September 4, 2025: Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils successfully hosted the fourth season of its popular culinary event, Cuisines of Karnataka, at Lulu Mall, Bengaluru. The cooking challenge brought together participants from across the state to showcase home-cooked dishes that reflected Karnataka’s rich culinary traditions.
Contestants presented regional specialties that were judged on taste, innovation, and presentation. Each dish highlighted the state’s diverse cooking styles, offering insights into local culture and history. Renowned celebrity chef and TV host of Oggarane Dabbi, Murali, along with his wife Suchithra, served as judges for the contest and also conducted a live masterclass, sharing valuable cooking tips, personal twists, and culinary stories from kitchens across India.
The event drew enthusiastic participation from food lovers, providing the public an opportunity to witness live demonstrations and interact with experts. Winners were rewarded with cash prizes of ₹10,000, ₹5,000, and ₹3,000 for first, second, and third places respectively, along with exciting hampers.
