Cult Yogathon 2025 transforms International Yoga Day into India’s largest inclusive, community-driven wellness experience
Bengaluru, June 21, 2025
In a remarkable celebration of unity and well-being, cult, India’s leading fitness brand, successfully concluded Yogathon 2025 on the International Day of Yoga, with participants across the country performing over one million Suryanamaskars. This large-scale initiative blended in-person and virtual participation, bringing together individuals at cult centres, partner venues, corporate parks, public spaces, and homes to collectively mark the occasion.
Conducted in a hybrid format, cult Yogathon 2025 featured synchronised yoga sessions across 250+ cult centres in over 25 cities, alongside thousands joining online through the cult app and social media platforms. The event expanded yoga beyond traditional fitness studios by partnering with corporate parks in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, making the practice more inclusive and accessible.
The flagship gathering took place at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Arena, where more than 1,000 participants joined in association with Fit India, in the presence of Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. The event saw star power from Bollywood actors Jackky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh, and Madhurima Tuli, adding energy to the collective practice.
“Fitness becomes powerful when it fits into your everyday life. With Yogathon, we didn’t just celebrate Yoga Day — we reimagined it. From tech parks to public spaces, homes to community centres, we saw people across ages and cities move together, breathe together, and show up for their well-being. This is what cult stands for — making fitness social, accessible, and truly for everyone,” said Naresh Krishnaswamy, CEO of cult.
Now in its sixth year, cult Yogathon has evolved into one of India’s largest community fitness movements, championing the message that yoga is for everyone, regardless of age or ability. The 2025 edition underscored inclusivity, scalability, and collective wellness, turning Yoga Day into a shared national experience.
