Inspired by motorsports and mechanical precision, the new collection marks Casio’s debut in premium automatic timepieces in India.
New Delhi, August 26, 2025: Casio India has announced its first-ever foray into automatic watches in the country with the launch of the EDIFICE EFK-100 series, expanding the brand’s celebrated motorsport-inspired line. Known for blending precision engineering with bold design, Casio’s EDIFICE collection now opens a new chapter by introducing mechanical mastery to Indian consumers.

The EFK-100 series debuts with five distinct models. Leading the collection is the EDIFICE EFK-100XPB-1A, featuring forged carbon in the dial and case—a material prized in high-end sports cars for its strength, lightweight profile, and striking aesthetics. The EFK-100CD-1A also incorporates forged carbon texture, while the EFK-100D-2A, 3A, and 7A recreate the dynamic appeal using advanced electroforming techniques. With prices starting at ₹25,995, the series offers Indian watch enthusiasts an entry point into the world of premium automatic timepieces that merge timeless craftsmanship with contemporary, motorsport-driven design.
Commenting on the milestone, Takuto Kimura, Managing Director, Casio India, said:
“The launch of our first automatic watch in India marks a landmark moment for Casio. As a Japanese brand with a long-standing legacy of innovation and craftsmanship, we are proud to introduce a timepiece that blends the automotive spirit of speed and intelligence with classical automatic watches. With this debut, we aim to inspire a new generation of Indian consumers who value the precision of automatic timekeeping, perfectly crafted for the fast-paced, high-performance lifestyle.”
Adding to the unveiling, Casio also offered a pre-launch preview of the EDIFICE ECB-2300, a next-generation multi-hand chronograph scheduled for release in December 2025. Drawing inspiration from motorsports, the ECB-2300 evolves EDIFICE’s SOSPENSIONE – Dual Layered Suspension armed design with a sleeker profile, Tough Solar technology, and Smartphone Link functionality. Positioned as the successor to the ECB-2200, the model reinforces EDIFICE’s commitment to its core ideology of “Speed & Intelligence.”
The New Delhi launch event featured keynote addresses by Takuto Kimura and Tadashi Kojima, Product Planning, Casio Computer Co., Japan, who provided insights into the EFK-100’s design and engineering while offering the first look at the upcoming ECB-2300.
