Dr. Kaberi Banerjee, a distinguished infertility and IVF specialist, is the visionary Founder and Medical Director of Advance Fertility and Gynecology Centre. Born and raised in New Delhi, where she pursued her MBBS and MD from AIIMS and further honed her skills with a Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology (FRCOG) from London. She also earned the Commonwealth Fellowship in London, gaining advanced expertise in reproductive medicine. With over two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to helping couples achieve their dream of parenthood.
Driven by the belief that “Every Couple Deserves to Be a Parent,” Dr. Banerjee established the IVF center in 2014 with a mission to provide honest, transparent, and effective fertility treatments. Her approach to success is grounded in Knowledge, Expertise, Discipline, Honesty, and Empathy, ensuring that every patient receives personalized and ethical care. Under her leadership, the clinic has grown into one of India’s most advanced fertility centers, offering cutting-edge treatments and maintaining the well-equipped IVF labs in Northern India.
Despite advancements in IVF success rates, several challenges persist, including lack of awareness about age-related fertility decline, unrealistic expectations of immediate success, poor lifestyle choices, and deteriorating egg and sperm quality. The center is committed not only to delivering cutting-edge fertility treatments but also to raising awareness about fertility preservation and the importance of early intervention to enhance success rates.
Looking ahead, the center aims to expand its services, making IVF treatments more accessible to those in need. Through increased awareness efforts and education on fertility-related issues, it seeks to empower individuals to take proactive steps in managing their reproductive health.

What are some of the biggest challenges women still face in leadership roles, and how can organizations foster real change?
Women in leadership often face biases, lack of mentorship, and the struggle of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. Many workplaces still operate with outdated gender perceptions, making it harder for women to break the glass ceiling. To foster an impactful change, organizations should implement unbiased hiring and promotion policies, encourage mentorship programs, and create flexible work environments. Leadership training tailored specifically for women and strong representation at decision-making levels can also help. More importantly, fostering an inclusive culture where women are heard and valued will drive long-term transformation.
With evolving work environments, how can companies better support women in achieving a healthy work-life balance?
With increasing professional demands, women often juggle multiple roles. Companies can support them by offering flexible work hours, parental leave policies, and remote work options. Encouraging a culture of boundary setting where personal time is respected equally becomes essential. Providing on-site childcare, wellness programs, and mental health support can further ease the burden. Most importantly, leaders should normalize work-life balance for all employees, ensuring women don’t feel pressured to choose between career growth and personal well-being. Females in general are found to be more empathetic and can get work done in a more congenial manner, so revolutionizing a healthy work culture will further help them grow.
How can media and advertising play a stronger role in shaping positive and empowering narratives for women?
The media holds immense power in shaping today’s societal perceptions, yet women are often portrayed in stereotypical roles. To create empowering narratives, brands should highlight women as leaders and innovators rather than just caregivers or beauty icons. Featuring real-life success stories, supporting female-driven businesses, and challenging outdated gender norms in storytelling can bring a positive change. Additionally, media houses should ensure diverse representation behind the camera by hiring more female directors, writers, and producers—to create content that truly resonates with women’s aspirations.
As more women enter STEM and digital fields, what initiatives can help bridge the gender gap in these industries?
Encouraging young girls to pursue STEM starts with early exposure—introducing coding, robotics, and science programs in schools. Scholarships, mentorships, and women-focused networking groups can further support aspiring professionals. Companies should actively recruit, retain, and promote women in tech through leadership training programs. Showcasing female role models in STEM and further celebrating their achievements will also inspire more women to enter and thrive in these industries. A gender-diverse workplace is more of an ethical practice, as it leads to more innovation and balanced perspectives toward female leadership.
What steps can individuals and businesses take to empower women towards greater financial literacy and independence?
Financial literacy is the foundation of independence, and women should be provided with the knowledge to manage money effectively. Businesses can conduct financial education programs covering investments, savings, and retirement planning. Encouraging equal pay and providing access to financial advisors can bridge the knowledge gap. Individuals should prioritize open discussions about finances, breaking cultural taboos around women handling money. Supporting female entrepreneurs through funding and mentorship fosters economic empowerment. As women become financially aware, they gain confidence to make informed monetary decisions, invest in their futures, and break economic dependency cycles.
