India, September 25, 2025 – HARMAN International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., has officially completed the acquisition of Sound United, the former consumer audio business of Masimo Corporation (NASDAQ: MASI). Sound United’s portfolio includes renowned brands such as Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Definitive Technology, Polk Audio, HEOS, Classé, and Boston Acoustics.
The acquisition significantly expands HARMAN’s footprint across home audio, electronics (amplifiers, hi-fi components, AVRs), headphones, and car audio, creating one of the most comprehensive audio portfolios in the industry. By combining Sound United’s expertise with HARMAN’s world-class audio capabilities, the company aims to deliver enhanced consumer choice, deeper innovation, and superior listening experiences across environments.
