25+ Locations Across India Use Mixed Reality to Showcase Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Journey
New Delhi, September 19, 2025: The first edition of Sewa Pakhwada, a nationwide fortnight dedicated to service and community engagement, is being observed across India with a unique technological twist. For the first time, immersive mixed-reality installations have been unveiled at more than 25 locations, allowing citizens to experience the journey of Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a highly engaging and interactive format.
The initiative, which runs from September 17 — marking the Prime Minister’s birthday — to October 2, the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, brings together programmes designed to strengthen welfare outreach. These include cleanliness drives, environmental campaigns, clean water initiatives, and efforts to extend government schemes to underserved communities.
At the heart of this year’s celebrations is a tech-driven experience featuring over 10 unique mixed-reality modules that trace key milestones in the Prime Minister’s life. Life-size interactive posters installed at each venue come equipped with QR codes, enabling visitors to unlock multimedia narratives in both Hindi and English. From his formative years to his leadership journey, citizens can engage with the Prime Minister’s story in a format that blends history with innovation.
The use of mixed reality not only enriches the celebratory spirit of Sewa Pakhwada but also reflects the evolving role of technology in participatory governance.
